  1. Place bread in bag.

  2. Squeeze out air. Fold top of bag down to meet the loaf.

  3. Tie the strings to secure

    Store on the counter for 1-2 days. Store a few days longer in the refrigerator. Store up to 2 months in the freezer.

    BREAD MUST BE COMPLETELY COOL BEFORE PLACING IN BAG. If the bread is warm it will introduce moisture into the bag, possibly leading to growth of mold.

What’s the best way to store Beeswax Food Wraps?

Wraps can be folded and stored in a cupboard or drawer. Another handy method is to punch a hole in a corner of the wrap and hang it on a binder ring or carabiner clip. The ring or clip can then be hung on a small hook inside a cupboard door. This is especially helpful when you have multiple wraps to keep organized.

What’s the best way to clean wraps and bread bags?

Crumbs can be brushed off wraps and bags using a cloth or sponge. DO NOT USE HEAT OR HOT WATER. Mild soap can be used if necessary. Bread bags MUST BE COMPLETELY DRY before adding bread. It is not recommended to fully submerge the bread bag in water.

How can I refresh my beeswax food wraps?

If you notice cracking or flaking of wax, restore your beeswax food wraps this way:

Heat oven to 250 degrees. Place a piece of parchment paper on a baking sheet. Lay beeswax wrap on parchment. Place in oven for 5 minutes. It will cool quickly when you remove it from the oven.
