CUSTOM ORDER PROCESS
Consultation: The consultation could be in person, over the phone, or via email or message. We will discuss what you’d like to have made and come up with a plan. If both parties agree to the plan, then you will leave your textiles with me. If we are in person, bring the items along with you. If items need to be mailed, that can be done after our initial discussion (in other words, don’t send anything until I agree that I can accomplish what you’re asking for).
Once we agree and I have your textiles I will clean them if necessary and prepare them. I will communicate with you throughout the design process if any of the plans need to be adjusted.
Fees: $35 consultation fee (after both parties agree to proceed with the plan) applies to up to 5 items. For example, if you order one custom pillow the cost is $35 consultation fee + cost of the pillow. If you order 3 custom pillows, the cost is $35 + cost of 3 pillows.
Zipper Pouch
Zipper pouches are so useful and versatile. They come in 2 sizes and can incorporate many different styles and types of fabric. A crocheted doily, a bit of lace from mom’s wedding dress, or even a vintage hanky can be incorporated into the design. They can also be made out of a loved one’s shirt or even old jeans.
Pillows
One of my favorites! Crocheted doilies can be sewn to the front of a pillow cover. Most often the fabric of the cover is a linen blend, giving the cover a very classy, timeless look. The pillow cover will be a standard size (choose from 14-18 inches). Customers can choose to order just the cover or a cover and insert. Covers are removable for washing.
Baby Bib
Even a baby bib can feature a bib of lace or a snippet of sentimental textile. How special your Little One would look wearing a bib that reminds you of your loved one!
